TRAFO BASE CAMP HOSTEL REGULATIONS
Thank You for aknowledging the Regulations of Trafo Base Camp Hostel
and following its principles. The Regulations have made to ensure You a safe and pleasant stay in our Hostel.
The management and staff of Trafo Base Camp Hostel are putting their best effort into providing You a possibly highest standard of service. Please kindly note though, that You are staying in a Hostel whose defined standard differs from the one provided in a hotel.
Should You have any claims concerning our services, please note them at the reception desk immediately.
When checking in, the Guest should present a document with current picture (ID, driving license, passport). In case of refusing it, the staff at the reception desk is obliged to refuse handing over the room key.
The Guest fills out personally the registration card with all necessary data, legibly and with written signature.
Filling out and signing the registration card equals acceptation of these Regulations by the Guest.
The length of the stay in the Hostel is calculated with “hostel nights”.
A hostel night starts at 16:00 (4:00 PM) and lasts until 14:00 (2:00 PM) of the following day. Until that time the room should be empty and the room key hand over at the reception desk.
Not checking out until 14:00 (2:00 PM) is treated as a prolongation of the stay for another night and charged accordingly.
The fee for the complete reservation is charged in advance on the first day of the stay in the Hostel. All prices include VAT. Prices may change under certain circumstances.

Making a reservation equals acceptance of these Regulations.
The reservations made in another way than personally at the reception desk will be confirmed via email.
After receiving the confirmation of reservation via email, a 40% installment should be paid into Trafo Base Camp account: ING Bank Śląski: 66 1050 1360 1000 0090 3043 4758, SWIFT: INGBPLPW
. Name, surname and the arrival date at the Hostel should be marked in the transfer title..
The installment should be made not later that 7 days before the arrival date at the Hostel. Should this be not possible, please contact our staff to set an exceptional payment date. It will be confirmed via email.
Should the length of the stay at the Hostel be extended, please advise the staff at the reception desk until 10:00 (10:00 AM). The request will be fulfilled only if free rooms will be available.
In case if a room or a bed in the multi-bed room will not be empty until 15:00 (3:00 PM) and another reservation for this space has been done for the forthcoming night, the staff of the Hostel is empowered to enter the room, pack the luggage and move it to a locker room.
In the multi-bed room reservations are made only for beds. Please note that there occurs a risk of sharing the multi-bed room with strangers.
Single beds in the multi-bed room are meant for one person only.
All rooms are coeducational.
There is no possibility of receiving visitors in the rooms.
Trafo Base Camp Hostel can deny accommodation or evict a Guest whose behavior broke these Regulations or conflicted with social intercourse. The charged fees will be not returned.
Please inform our staff about the length of the stay at the Hostel when checking in or making reservation. Without such information it will be assumed that the stay will last one hostel night.
The Guest shall not pass His room or bed in multi-bed room to other people when checking out, even if His reservation has not come to an end.
When groups of over 8 people are checking in, a deposit of 200 PLN will be charged by the Hostel. It will be returned when checking out and no damages to the Hostel equipment will be noted.
The Hostel allows to keep pets only in private rooms, after permission of the staff at the reception desk and after leaving a deposit of 50 to 100 PLN. The amount of the deposit will be decided by the staff at the reception desk. It will be returned when checking out and no damages to the Hostel equipment will be noted.
Should You wish to receive an invoice for Your stay at the Hostel, please note it when making reservation or checking in. The invoice can be issued until 7 days after making the full payment.
Children under the age of 13 should stay under the care of their legal guardians during the whole stay in the Hostel. Legal guardians are answering for the children's behavior and damages they may have made.
Curfew in the Hostel starts at 22:30 (10:30 PM) and ends at 6:30 (6:30 AM).
Trafo Base Camp Hostel allows all Guests to use the social part of the Hostel, namely TV room and dining room. Please keep the social part clean and tidy.
Trafo Base Camp Hostel is being monitored 24/7 and watched over by the ARKAN Security Agency.
No electrical or gas devices, namely heaters, ovens, irons etc. are allowed in the Hostel rooms because of fire risks and Regulations. It does not apply to computer or mobile AC/DC adapters.
Please follow the fire Regulations made known in the Hostel.
It is not allowed to move the room eqipment.
The Hostel charges 50 PLN in case of loosing the room key.
The Guest takes all the financial responsibility for any Hostel equipment damage or destruction which came into being as a result of His actions. The Guest should inform the staff at the reception desk about the damage immediately after noticing.
The installment can be returned in full only in case if an individual reservation will be cancelled not later that 7 days before the planned arrival date. In case of group reservations it has to be cancelled not later than 14 days before the planned arrival date. Should the cancellation be done after these deadlines, the installment will be not returned. Should the Guest wish to shorten His stay during accommodation, He has no grounds for claiming a return of the paid amount.
Guests are allowed to claim the quality of the service provided by the Hostel in writing at the reception desk.
Smoking and drinking alcohol is prohibited in Trafo Base Camp Hostel.
Please hand over the room key and entry card at the reception desk when checking out.
When leaving the room, please make sure if the windows are closed and door is locked.
During the curfew Guests should behave in a way, which should not disturb other peoples rest.
Consumption or possession of any kind of narcotics is prohibited in Trafo Base Camp Hotel.
The Guest is obliged to cover all the costs of restoring the damaged or destroyed equipment of the Hostel, if the damage was caused by Him or His visitors. Should the costs not be covered, the Guest will be prosecuted. In case of intended actions which caused the damage, it can be also a matter of criminal liability.
The Guest is obliged to report all damages noted in the room on the day of arrival. No report will be treated as if no damages occurred.
In case of suspecting Guests of criminal offence committed in the Hostel, the Hostel will report it immediately to the law enforcement officers.
The responsibility of the Hostel concerning the loss or damage of the Guests property is regulated by Polish Civil Code (art. 846-849).
The responsibility of the Hostel may be limited if the property will not be deposited at the reception desk. The Hostel has the right to refuse depositing money, securities, valuables and other items, especially of scientific or artistic value, because of security reasons or in case if their value is too high or the size too big for the Hostels standard.
Personal items left in the room after the Guest has checked out, will be sent back to the address marked in the registration card on the Guests expense. In case the Guest didn't mark the address, the Hostel will keep these items for 7 days. After this time, the items will be handed over for charity or social use.
Should the Guest break these Regulations, the Hostel can refuse further service to the Guest. Such person is obliged to follow the orders given by the staff of the Hostel, pay all the charges for present services, cover all the costs of restoring the caused damages and destructions and leave the Hostel.
By making a reservation or checking in Trafo Base Camp Hostel, the Guest allows Trafo Base Camp Hostel to collect and store the Guests personal data in the Hostels data base. The data will be processed only to the extent of facilitating the Guests current and future accommodation and marketing purposes as stated in the Polish law (Dz.U. nr 133, poz. 883, z późn. zm.). The Guest has the law to inspect and update His personal data.
All disputes over these Regulations will be settled amicably during negotiations. Should this be not possible, the disputes will be settled by the local court relevant to the Trafo Base Camp Hostel headquarter placement.
All issues not mentioned in these Regulations will be settled by the common law.
